ABOUT TARRAGONA - REUS

Located in the heart of the Costa Dorada, Reus tourism is recognized as a shopping city, as well as its modernist heritage and its close links with the universal architect Antoni Gaudí.

In medieval and almost a thousand years of history, the city had its moment of splendor from the eighteenth century, thanks to the export of liquor that was produced in the city. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries were built in Reus great Modernist buildings, becoming, after Barcelona, the most important modernist city of Catalonia. Currently, the city has one of the sets of Modernist buildings most important in Europe, you can discover the Modernist Route, an itinerary that 26 buildings of this style highlights of the city, among them especially the works of the great architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner, who built Reus Pere Mata Institute, Casa Navàs, Casa Rull and Casa Gasull.

Hometown Gaudi Reus also preserves the most emblematic places of the childhood and youth of the architect, you can make walking the route Gaudí, as well as a modern interpretation center dedicated to the life and work of genius, the Gaudí Center.

Currently, the entrepreneurial spirit that has always characterized the city is reflected in the commercial dynamism of the historical center, diversified and high quality, and the intense cultural life and festive, with a varied program taking place throughout the year.

NUTS 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Over the last few weeks, we have been following the evolution of the growing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak both locally and internationally closely.
Due to the increased spread worldwide, and because our first priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all the attendees to this event, we, the Organizing Committee of the NUTS 2020 have decided to postpone the NUTS 2020 meeting, scheduled for June 18 and 19 2020 since the current priority is the health of all the participants of the meeting.
For the reasons mentioned above, we would like to announce that the new dates for the Conference are 10 and 11 June 2021 at the same venue (INC, Reus); and maintaining, as much as possible, the scientific program.
We will inform you of the changes related to this postponement.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, but we hope you will understand our decision considering the exceptionality of the pandemia.
